About the event
The first ever Wheels Fest/ Art Tour on Sunday, September 15th from 11 am to 4 pm. The festival will be wheely good with unique activities featuring all things mobility. Whether it is a car, bike, skateboard, roller skate, wheelchair, mass transit or a unicycle it will be a celebration of the wheels that moves us. And since we are all about unconventional celebrations or movements, we created this festival to celebrate ...you guessed it ---wheels.
The event will take place on 32nd Street SE from 17th to 19th Avenue which is a great backdrop as the road is surrounded by a colourful mural which stretches the entire length. Obstacle courses, car show, kinetic bikes, scooters, toddler obstacle course, free giveaways including a bike, free bike repair, face painting, buskers, roller skating, vendor booths, scooter demos, and the Tour De Purple.
